What's happening with Pete?
I had a nice time in California -
Palo Alto - in May,
then a short trip up to the
Canadian
Grand Prix, in early June. That was just ahead of the big SIFMA show
in NYC, where I worked my ass off on a
News Center for the
show.
I'll be in the UK for the
British
Grand Prix and general family/friends catch up, with a side vacation trip to
Tunisia, leaving July 2nd, returning July 19th.
Later in the year, I'll be running the annual
High
Performance on Wall Street event, and then making a quick trip to the
Austin City
Limits Festival, leaving September 25th, returning September 29th.
About Pete
I am an Englishman in New York.
I've lived in the Big Apple since the mid-90s, most of the time in
Brooklyn
Heights. I like it here very much.
I work for a small but growing publishing, research and consulting
company all to do
with how technology is being used by Wall Street and the financial markets.
I've been involved in this area for all of my working life. Go figure.
My main hobbies are related to independent music (listening to and
promoting, but not performing) and also as a fan of
Formula One motor
racing.
I am a
Capricorn. And I love the
color orange.
Inexplicably, I am still single, though I am God father to a dog called Max.
