Advocacy Ideation and Outreach
Lighthouse Partners works with innovators to help them create and refine their advocacy messages. This involves aligning on fundamental beliefs regarding business approaches and technology functionality, from which advocacy positions can be developed.
These advocacy positions can be leveraged internally to align product definition, marketing, and business development activities. Externally, they would be used to establish a leadership position for the innovator, which drives business to them.
Some activities would be to:

Determine a set of advocacy positions around which it can establish impactful key messaging that is consistent over the medium term.

Align advocacy positions with business focuses that will have substantial revenue potential, often drawing on the position and resources of potential partners.

Develop a plan to use these advocacy positions for internal product/service development and for external messaging, outreach, and customer engagement.
As an example, Lighthouse and its DecentraTech Collective community worked with a startup in the HealthTech space to showcase how blockchain and privacy enhancing technology can be leveraged to safeguard personal health information and allow its owners (patients themselves) to own and monetize it.
